Hello and welcome to the official website for the Executive Vice President of the University of Alabama Student Government Association. As the Executive Vice President, I am committed to lead an effective Student Senate and to hold Senators to a high degree of accountability. Please use this website to contact me or the Senators and we look forward to representing you this year.

Job Description:

Assume the office of the President if the office becomes vacant for any reason, or if requested to serve in the absence of the President. His most important duty is to preside over the Student Senate and attend regularly scheduled meetings of the Senate. Also, he shall serve as a liaison between the Student Senate and the Faculty Senate by attending Faculty Senate meetings, or, if unable to attend, appoint someone to serve in his place.

Goals:

  • The appointment of College Committee chairs to better connect Senators to their constituents
  • Creation of the Senate Journal. The Senate Journal will be a detailed record of Senate business, including all resolutions and bills, financial expenditures, and committee chair reports
  • Better legislation from the Student Senate
